Notice on Drafting Instructions for the Trade Mark Rules, 2016
In 2015, the Institute together with its stakeholders made proposals to repeal the Trade Marks Act, Cap 506 of the Laws of Kenya. The proposals were forwarded to the Attorney General’s Office for drafting. In order to align the provisions of the Trademarks Rules to the proposals to repeal the Act, the Institute has duly prepared Drafting Instructions to repeal the Rules, which will be forwarded to the Attorney General's Office for drafting.
IT IS notified for the general information of the public that the Institute has availed soft copies of the Drafting Instructions and the proposals to repeal the Trade Marks Act, as forwarded to the Office of the Attorney General, to the members of public, downloadable below:
