Intellectual Property Seminar for Academic and Research Institutions in Kenya

The Institute has been partnering with various learning institutions to promote inventive and innovative activities and facilitate the acquisition of technology through registration and regulation of patents, utility models, technovations, industrial designs and trademarks.

In an effort to implement its core functions, among them, to provide technological information to the public, promote inventiveness and innovativeness in Kenya and provide training on Industrial property, the Institute has worked with universities and Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and Research institutions in the country.

It is in this regard, in conjunction with African Regional Intellectual Property Organization (ARIPO) and the University of Nairobi (UoN), it hosted an Intellectual Property Seminar for Academic and Research Institutions in Kenya at the UoN Towers, Nairobi, from 31st October to 2nd November, 2023.
