Board Signs Performance Contract With the Cabinet Secretary

The Institute’s Board and Management led by the Chairman, Allan Kosgey, has signed a Performance Contract with Hon. Lee Kinyanjui, the Cabinet Secretary for Ministry of Investments, Trade and Industry (MITI), in a ceremony held at the Ministry's NSSF Building Headquarters, Nairobi. 


The Cabinet Secretary emphasised that the Ministry's success reflected the collective efforts, positioning it in a pivotal position in nation-building. "We bear a huge responsibility to make the nation work unlocking jobs through value addition and achieving self-sufficiency in consumables," the CS said. During the event, the CS also signed performance contracts with Chairs and CEOs of other State Agencies (SAGAs) under the Ministry. 


The Principal Secretaries Regina Ombam, Trade Department, and Hassan Abubakar, Investments Department, witnessed the PC signing ceremony.


"As KIPI, we reaffirm our commitment to supporting the Ministry and advancing the growth of Kenya’s economy in line with H.E. the President’s Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda," Kosgey said.
Prof. Erastus Gatebe, Industrialization Secretary, Juliana Yako, Principal Administrative Secretary (PAS), Prime Cabinet Secretary's Office, John Onyango, the Institute’s Managing Director (MD), and Mr.  Stephen Ngeno, Deputy MD-Technical Services, also attended the ceremony.
