Aileen Aluso Ingati is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a seasoned legal professional with over 12 years of post-qualification experience spanning judicial research, corporate governance and international intellectual property law. She holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Intellectual Property from the University of Dar es Salaam, School of Law and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Moi University, School of Law.
Aileen's distinguished career includes serving as a Senior Legal Researcher for the Judiciary of Kenya, where she has provided high-level legal and policy research to guide judicial decision-making and institutional reform. Deeply embedded in the IP ecosystem, she is a registered Patent Agent with KIPI, an IP Agent with ARIPO, an IP Recordation Agent with the Anti - Counterfeit Authority and serves as a Pro Bono Patent Specialist under the World Intellectual Property Organization’s (WIPO) Inventor Assistance Program (IAP), where she successfully advances patent prosecution for grassroots innovators.
Her leadership experience extends to corporate governance, having served as the Honorary Secretary for the Association of Professional Societies in East Africa (APSEA) and Council Member at the Law Society of Kenya (LSK).
